Srinagar – The Jammu and Kashmir government is accelerating the implementation of budget announcements for the fiscal year 2026-27, prioritizing the timely delivery of welfare measures to the people. A high-level meeting was convened at the Civil Secretariat, chaired by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, to fast-track key budget initiatives across various departments.

The focus of the meeting was to ensure that the budgetary provisions are translated into tangible outcomes on the ground, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and overall public welfare.
