The Indian Army is set to enhance its operational capabilities by implementing a unified control and coordination system for all land-based artillery systems. The major functions of the LVCCS include technical control to deliver fire from vectors such as missiles, rockets, guns, howitzers, mortars, and loitering munitions quickly and accurately, as well as tactical control to optimize resource utilization. This will result in higher efficiency in degrading the enemy’s combat potential. Integrated planning and deployment management will maximize impact in critical areas, while operational logistics and data management will further streamline operations.
