Schools in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir have resumed normal operations on Wednesday, following a two-day closure necessitated by a series of attacks by two suspected rabid stray dogs. The incidents, which left several individuals injured, had prompted authorities to take precautionary measures to ensure the safety of students.
The threat was significantly reduced after one of the animals was killed by villagers in the Koteranka area using blunt objects after it attacked a local resident. The second dog was subsequently apprehended by the district administration.
