The Union Health Ministry has unveiled a comprehensive framework designed to screen, diagnose, treat, and manage childhood diabetes. The release of this guidance document signals a significant step towards integrating diabetes care into the country’s public health infrastructure.

These screenings will be conducted through community and school-based programs to facilitate early identification of potential cases, according to officials.
