In a recent decision by the Central Government, IPS officer Diksha, originally belonging to the Bihar cadre (BH:2021), has been transferred to the AGMUT cadre. This transfer is based on her marriage to IPS officer Dwarka Gaadhi (AGMUT:2022).
The Ministry of Home Affairs approved the transfer in accordance with the Indian Police Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954. This decision was made with the concurrence of both the Governments of Bihar and AGMUT. Dwarka Gaadhi, the husband of Diksha, hails from Bishnah in the Jammu district. He is currently serving within the AGMUT cadre. Gaadhi’s academic background includes schooling at Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School in Jeevan Nagar. He further pursued higher education and graduated from MAM College, Jammu. His dedication and perseverance eventually led him to his current position in the AGMUT cadre.
